An Imperfection
A small blemish seemed to be spoiling the beautiful artwork, so Rose took it outside into the light to get a closer look at the stain and that’s when she saw it. There was a small black insect that had somehow become wedged directly between the canvas and the glass plate in the frame. She opened the back of the frame up carefully and removed the glass to expose the artwork to the sunlight and air.
