Aaron Hernandez
Aaron Hernandez’s career with the New England Patriots came to an end on June 17, 2013, when he shot and killed Odin Lloyd, a man who had been dating the sister of Hernandez’s fiancee. He was convicted of first-degree murder on April 15, 2017, and sentenced to life in prison. He committed suicide in his cell on April 19, 2017.
