Tony Stewart
NASCAR driver and team owner Tony Stewart has enjoyed a long and award-winning career in the sport. But on Aug. 9, 2014, he struck fellow racer Kevin Ward Jr. while the latter was walking on the track after his car crashed into the wall. The impact threw Ward 25 feet, and he later died from his injuries. Stewart, however, was never indicted for the incident.
