Felicity Huffman
Transamerica (2005): This is the first film where I heard people in the LGBTQII community complaining about CIS actors consistently taking trans parts at the expense of trans actors. Felicity Huffman was nominated for an Oscar, and it is one of the few examples of a CIS woman portraying a transwoman, where the end result wasn’t completely insulting (looking at you Ace Ventura and Myra Breckinridge).
