Dressed to Kill (1980): Brian de Palma’s film has one of the most celebrated sequences in film history (the museum sequence) and also one of its most transphobic plots. Michael Caine is being stalked by a transgender patient named Bobbi, who is also killing beautiful women. SPOILER ALERT: Michael Caine is Bobbi and he is mentally unstable, and this film reinforces basically ever ugly stereotype of trans and LGBTQII people as mentally ill.
