Chatting With A Customer
I experienced the strangest conversation with a patron. I was working behind the bar on a quiet weeknight when a 19-20 year guy comes and ordered a cocktail. As I’m making it, we start talking, and he is overly open. We talk about his work, and then he brings up the fact that he had recently quit smoking. He told me that his sense of smell had come back, and he could now smell if girls were on their period. Apparently, this is a thing that some people can do, but I had never heard it at the time. Super uncomfortable.
