Every Round Is On Me
Not a bartender but the patron in this case. A friend of mine and her boyfriend didn’t have a ton of money, and if we spent time together, I financed the entire thing. Her boyfriend jokingly says, “next rounds on you?” without realizing I’m a smart ass. Knee jerk response is, “every round is on me because I’m the only one with money.” The bartender almost lost it. He got tipped for not keeping a straight face.
