Interesting Conversations
I work in an upscale hotel in the bar. One day the governor of my state comes in with a group of gentlemen. I keep overhearing him say, “this could ruin my career,” and “they are trying to blackmail me” At the end of his meeting, a lawyer I recognize walks up, tips me $200 dollars, and explains the reason he loves my bar is because of our discretion. I have always wished I caught the whole conversation.
