Technically not a relationship that escalated too far, but definitely worth mentioning. In “Teen Titans,” these two become very close until it was revealed to Beast Boy that Terra had been acting as a spy for Slade (aka Deathstroke). Nothing’s worse than your crush working with your archenemy.
