Juicy Fruit Gum To The Rescue
When my sisters and I were younger, we were jumping on the couches at home, and we knocked over a lamp and broke the lampshade. It was made of brass rings and layers of opaque white cotton with an outer layer like every other cartoon lamp. We fixed it by using juicy fruit gum as an adhesive. It stayed together for years until our mom decided to sell it in a garage sale, and it fell apart when she was moving it around, and she thought it was just old.
