Tetsuo: The Iron Man (1989)
Tetsuo has to be seen to be believed. Directed by Shinya Tsukamoto, the film is only 67 minutes, but it will stick with you for the rest of your life. The body horror in this film is unparalleled. I can’t decide what is more memorable, the maggots and metal wounds of the ‘metal fetishist’ or the businessman whose skin turns into metal. This film is crazy and disturbing, and what loving horror is all about.
