Vertebrae Of A Mastodon
Eric and Andrew from Detroit, Michigan found a rock sticking up from the ground in their yard. The family realized it was a bone and called John Zawiskie, a paleontologist from Cranbrook Institute of Science in Bloomfield Hills, who determined it was a 13,000-year-old mastodon vertebrae.
