Backyard Stone
British Amateur historian Stephen Davis found that an ancient stone in his property marked a Bronze Age burial plot from 2,500 B.C. while doing research on his property’s history. Eventually, he found the stone covered in ivy. The stone was pronounced a “scheduled ancient monument” by the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission.
