Jana Rugan and Timothy Russo Got Engaged During the Filming of the Show
The New York Daily News revealed that Timothy Russo and Jana Rugan got engaged on the season-two finale. During the episode, Ted and Robin were on a date when Robin unexpectedly received a champagne glass with a ring inside. The two freaked out since Ted wasn’t actually proposing and then Timothy Russo came to them, claimed the ring and proposed to Jana Rugan. “At first, she thought I was messing up the scene, then it dawned on her, and she started crying, and everyone was clapping. It was awesome,” Russo said.
