Some of the Cast is Based On Real People
Every actor has done an excellent job with their character on the show. This has to do a lot with the fact that Lily, Ted, and Marshall are based on the show’s creators, Craig Thomas, his wife, Rebecca, and Carter Bays. The first season of “How I Met Your Mother” even included a few real-life experiences and fights between Rebecca and Craig.
