Majestic Ships
Here is another myth. Pirates owned huge majestic ships that made everyone who saw them feel real terror. Well, that’s not true. Pirate ships were small in order to be as fast as possible with enough room just for the crew and the weapons.
Anything could have been considered a pirate ship, depending on what hey would capture. Naval or merchant vessels would be taken over through mutiny and we’ve got captains George Lowther and Henry Avery as an example.
