Finally, it was time for the speeches, which took place in front of a giant screen that played a looping compilation of photos that Emma had compiled for her friend’s big day. Emma took the remote that controlled the screen. First, she flicked through some pre-approved shots of Sarah with Emma and her other friends and made a few lighthearted jokes. There were even a few photographs of Emma’s own wedding. The fun was about to begin.
