An Announcement
Sarah’s speech was beginning to go wildly off-script. She looked straight at Emma as she raised her hand for everyone to see. “We’re getting engaged!” She screeched, waving a shimmering diamond ring that sparkled in the light. There was a confused round of applause from the guests, and then they began to get up one by one to hug and congratulate her. Emma couldn’t believe it. She started to feel anger boil inside of her.
