Dr. Roland Enmarch’s and his team’s role is to examine ancient inscriptions found the area. It seems that the ancient Egyptians’ quarries really flourished in the area because of a light-colored mineral named Alabaster. That’s why there are many ancient inscriptions there. But what does all of this have to do with their discovery?
