Stealing Her Thunder
One of my brides called me, completely freaking out because one of her close friends got engaged and was planning to have her wedding in the same year as her. When I asked why that was bad news, she explained to me that it was her special year. Her friend’s wedding date was in a completely different season and theme, but apparently, the friend was trying to steal her thunder. I still don’t get it.
