Hurt and Confused
One of the worst bridezillas I’d dealt with insisted that she had to wear the same garter as her mother. I didn’t get it, but she’s the bride. Here’s the disturbing part, the garter she wanted was from her mother’s first marriage – to the man who is not her father.
Her mother divorced and then married another man a few years later – her father. Obviously, her father was extremely upset and confused, and to make matters worse, he was the one paying for it. She also refused to invite his side of the family because they weren’t good enough. Poor guy!
