You Better Be There!
I’m a wedding planner who had an unexpected death in my family. My nephew passed away, and the funeral was scheduled on the same day as my client’s wedding. I call the bride to explain, and she’s not listening to me because she’s laughing with her friends the entire time.
I tell her that I’ll send my assistant to cover and I’ll attend after. She tells me in the calmest voice to send my assistant to the funeral, and I better be at her wedding. I told her that I’d be sending her money back and hung up.
