I’m A Size Four
This bride walked into our store and after trying on a large sample dress. After pinning her in, my mom, the owner, told her that her measurements should be a size eight. She said that it was impossible and that she wanted a size four, she’s been a size four since she was 14. She said, “Order me a size four!” My mom tried to explain that the size varied based on the designer, so it was just a number. She still demanded a four. A few weeks go by, and the dress comes, and a big surprise, it doesn’t fit… at all. She had a complete meltdown. My mother had to apologize and reorder it at our expense.
