The Wedding Glasses
I worked in the gift registry at a large department store. Sometimes we run low on stock, and brides have put on their registries, and we have to scramble to get the items they want from other stores across the country. It is difficult and time-consuming. One bride didn’t receive all of the drinking glasses she requested until several weeks after her wedding. She came in very distressed and told us that we had ruined her wedding because she had to wait for her glasses.
