Wedding Shop Workers Share the Craziest Bridezilla Moments They’ve Witnessed

Taylor Swift

Vulture

Wedding singer story. Recently had a bride request country music at her wedding, so I sent her samples of me singing Patsy Cline (one of the artists she requested). Bride complained about me being flat. It took me a good twenty minutes to determine that she meant I was slurring notes as an ornament, and she didn’t like that. No problem. It’s an ornament, and I don’t expect you to know music terms if you’re not a musician. She requests Taylor Swift, and I send her samples of that (I’m in the south, I get a lot of requests for Taylor Swift and various country songs). Bride complains that “I don’t sound like Taylor Swift.” I politely explain to the bride that a live singer sounds different than a studio recording (my recordings aren’t cleaned up at all) and that I am also not Taylor Swift. She huffs and says she “wants it to sound like Taylor Swift.”
