One Last Hoorah
I’ve been a planner for some time, so I’ve seen a lot. One of the most memorable was a bride who invited her ex-boyfriend; they were “good friends.” During the reception, I saw her kiss him, while the groom went to the bathroom, and when she saw me, she said to mind my business.
Two days later, I get a call from the groom asking for a refund because I made the bride upset – apparently, I’d made a scene at the wedding. I asked him if he knew that the scene involved his new wife kissing her ex while he was in the bathroom. He hung up and never called back.
