Basketball: Margo Dydek
The Polish baller Margo Dydek is possibly the tallest pro basketball player in the world, standing at 7’2”. She joined the Utah Starzz for the WNBA draft in 1998, where she was number one overall. Dydek then earned fame for being an eight-time leader in blocked shots and two-time All-Star player.
She retired in 2008, but to this day remains the record holder for the most number of blocks at the WNBA at 877.
