Leaving Ava
Claudia packed her things and fearfully waited for J’Ann to arrive before she got a cab to drive her to the airport. She ignored the little voice inside her head and tried to focus on her work. She showed her where the formula and diapers were, gave her a list of emergency numbers, then she kissed little Ava goodbye. But when Claudia got that terrifying text message from J’Ann, she was already too far away to help.
