Lest you think Lawrence is just a nerd with a realistic costume and a cool custom car, the Brampton Batman is an honest-to-goodness hero. Lawrence says he has three “citations of bravery” for stopping crime in Bramptom while dressed as Batman. In America, they’d probably call that vigilantism and throw him in a privatized prison. But in Canada, apparently, they know better than to look a gift bat in the mouth.
