10. Astronauts Saw Dazzling Lights
When they were in the Apollo 11 mission, astronauts saw “light flashes” in their eyes. In the next missions, astronauts from Apollo 12 and Apollo 13 were told about this strange event and they also experienced bursts of light as they closed their eyes.
Experiments continued in the next Apollo missions and NASA concluded astronauts saw cosmic rays – which on Earth we don’t see, since they’re absorbed by the planet’s atmosphere.
