6. Samantha Cristoforetti Saw The ISS Turn Orange
Samantha Cristoforetti was heading towards the ISS in her capsule when she saw the ISS turn orange. It was the sun that was reflected off the space station’s solar panels. She was taken aback by the light and wrote in a blog post: “The enormous solar panels were inundated with a blaze of orange light, vivid, warm, almost alien.”
