In all the confusion, it was difficult to get the true story of the Costa Concordia, but one thing was certain, Captain Francesco Schettino didn’t go down with the ship. He said he “fell on a lifeboat” when the ship tilted. But Schettino was on trial for allegedly abandoning ship, and faced manslaughter charges, as 32 people were killed.
