Candy Store Hangouts
Children would jump on and line up at the counters, with candies close by. This was additionally when confections were so modest in those days that children could chug up sugar-stacked soft drinks and egg cream for a nickel. Children were regularly observed sneaking in earthy colored paper sacks brimming with sticky bears, bubblegum, candy sticks, and a whole lot more.
