Close Call
<p>In 2007, a teenager snuck up on Sgt. Dan Powers in Eastern Baghdad and stabbed him on the right side of his head with a 9-inch knife, of which 4 inches had managed to penetrate the soldier. Powers had no idea what had happened to him. But was taken to a combat hospital where he made a full recovery.</p>
