<p>Almost 30 years ago, in Rotterdam, Netherlands the surgeons were shocked when they saw what a 52-year-old woman had swallowed. Margaret Daalman’s x-ray showed 78 different items of cutlery. Apparently, she suffered from a disorder known as <a href=”http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1223563/The-woman-knife–swallowing-entire-canteen-cutlery.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>pica</a>, where the individual has cravings for non-food substances.</p>
