Australian patient Pat Skinner had returned to the hospital 18 months after the 69-year-old woman had parts of her colon taken out at Sydney’s St. George Hospital in May of 2001. What doctors found in her stomach were a pair of scissors that had been accidentally left inside of her abdomen.
