Zhang Weiwei, a 22-year-old varsity student from the Wuhan University in central China’s Hubei Province swallowed a 14 cm metal spoon when a friend jumped up on top of her to say hi, which shocked her. Doctors lassoed the spoon with a wire snare that went in her stomach, but there was no internal bleeding.
