According to Julieta Ramos-Elorduy, a leader in the push for bug consumption, there are eight insects most commonly munched on worldwide. Beetles, butterflies and moths, bees and wasps, ants, grasshoppers and crickets, flies and mosquitos, water boatmen and stinkbugs serve as tasty treats for millions.
