13. The Ndebele Tribe in Africa
In Africa, the girls in the Ndebele tribe wear copper and brass rings around their necks, legs and arms. They receive the rings from their husbands and wear them as a sign of loyalty. Today, women don’t always wear them, but back then, the rings were removed after the woman died.
