Setting Priorities

It was a complicated situation, but the firefighters were determined to find the best possible solution for the welfare of the baby animals they would be fishing out of a dark enclosure. They needed to make a decision fast. But, first, they had to take them out and find out what types of animals they were so they knew how to best address their needs.
If they were domestic babies, then they would really need plenty of attention and care. If they were wild animals, then it would be best to leave them in their natural habitat so they can learn how to live on their own. Slowly but surely, they reached the end of the tight sewer and ever so carefully helped the babies out one by one. When they finally laid eyes on what they had rescued, it was love at first sight.
