Why Are They In There?
The enclosure was very dark and narrow, so how the babies could have gotten into such as tight space was a mystery to the firefighters. Judging by the cries they heard from inside, it seemed that there were several babies trapped, and they couldn’t figure out, no matter how much they thought about it, how these animals could have possibly gone in. Domesticated pets, for one, rarely leave their babies in such types of places. The same goes for wild animals. How those poor tiny creatures ended up in such a situation was a mystery.
They scanned the area to see if their mother could be found lurking around. It would really help to see an adult animal nearby, perhaps a mother, to know what type of animals they were going to rescue.
