Treading Ever So Carefully
Hours had passed but still there was no sighting of a possible mother lurking in the vicinity. The firefighters had so many theories coming up as to what happened to these babies’ parent. The mother might have abandoned her babies or maybe she had met an accident. They didn’t want to think about the latter, but since it had been so long and the infants still trapped, it’s not far-fetched to think that their mother might have met a gruesome fate.
The more they felt sorry for the trapped babies, the more determined were the firefighters to get them out of such an awful and scary state. They prayed fervently that they would get to the infants in time and that they would be able to rescue every single one of them.
