A lot of passengers assume the crew stand in the cabin for boarding to help lift suitcases into the overhead lockers. Wrong! Imagine the work load if your flight attendant lifted every passenger’s bag on every flight they flew. Remember this: if your bag is too heavy for you to lift it could be too heavy for your crew as well, so be aware of that when you’re packing and be prepared to lift your own case.
