Woman vs. Snake
Tonkins is not the only person to try and fight an animal out of protective instincts. An unnamed woman in Liberty-Eylau, Texas, found a large snake crawling near her home. She decided to douse it in gasoline and set it ablaze. Unfortunately, she also set her house ablaze. “She just didn’t like snakes, I guess,” said Liberty-Eylau Fire Chief David Wesslehoft.
