That man was Kailem Barwick, a 19-year-old suffering from Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer most commonly seen in children and adolescents. Barwick and his girlfriend, Brandi Wadwell (pictured here), had set up a GoFundMe to help offset medical bills. Tonkins set up the hunting trip in part to lift his spirits.
