Leaf-Mimic Katydid
Here is another animal that lives in the Amazon forest and it makes it really hard to be found. It really looks like a leaf and that’s where its name came from. Also, it is named “Katydid” due to the sound that it makes. It also seems that the frequency of its “katydid” noise depends on the temperature of its surroundings. So by counting its sounds, you can understand the temperature on the Fahrenheit scale.
