Ancient Settlements

On March 2018, Archaeologist Jonas Gregorio de Souza along with his crew found out that there were 81 ancient settlements in the Amazon! According to the archaeologists, these ancient settlements dated between 1250 and 1500. They also believe that about 1,000,000 people might have inhabited the forest before the arrival of Europeans.
