King Tut’s Tomb

An ancient Egyptian pharaoh, King Tutankhamun was the last of his royal family to rule the nation during the end of the 18th Dynasty. Similar to the fate of his ancestors and other leaders in Egypt, his body was buried in a tomb when he passed away. In 1922, British archaeologist Howard Carter and his team successfully located King Tut’s tomb. Though his remains have been there for a while already, the place seemed undisturbed. Carter and other workers found various remains inside such as chariot parts.
