The Pond—Moonlight
This breathtaking work of art by Edward Steichen happens to be both a painting and a photograph. Captured in New York in 1904, “The Pond—Moonlight” or simply “Moonlight” was achieved through hand color and black-and-white prints. For those who are not aware, this technique of combining the two mediums is referred to as “Pictorialism” in the world of art.
