He was also a talented actor and a devoted patriot! When he was drafted into the U.S. Army, he dropped everything and served as a private in Arkansas. While serving in the army, Presley still effortlessly looked every bit a heartthrob he always was. His brothers and sisters in the military were considered lucky since he entertained them with his talents and wits.
